Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, the studio focuses on iconic American makers like Henkel Harris, Craftique, Baker, Statton, Stickley, Drexel, and more. Rooted in classic styles—Chippendale, Federal, Neoclassical—its aesthetic also embraces grandmillennial charm and Hollywood Regency flair.

Alongside a curated collection of ready-to-ship pieces, The Other Treasure offers refinishing services for select in-house finds. With a dedicated trade program and nationwide shipping, the studio helps bring meaningful, design-driven pieces into beautiful spaces.

    FOUNDER | STUDIO DIRECTOR

    Michele is the founder and creative force behind The Other Treasure. What began as a personal passion for vintage furniture has grown into a thriving studio known for its refined restorations and timeless design aesthetic. With an eye for quality and a love for history-rich pieces, she leads every project with intention, craftsmanship, and style—curating spaces that feel both storied and sophisticated.

    When she’s not treasure hunting or transforming vintage finds, Michele lives in Raleigh with her husband and their two daughters, ages 4 and 6. She’s a CrossFit enthusiast, a karaoke fan, and a nonstop thrifter—always on the lookout for the next great piece.

    STUDIO TECHNICIAN

    Jess is a creative at heart, drawn to all things imaginative and hands-on. A true collector of hobbies, she has explored everything from sewing and knitting to baking—each craft deepening her appreciation for detail, process, and artistry.

    At The Other Treasure, Jess brings a passion for furniture restoration and a love for beautifully layered, story-driven interiors. Her work is rooted in curiosity and creativity, contributing to the thoughtful transformation of pieces that feel both timeless and personal.
