Terms of Service

Terms:

  • Quotes that are prepared are estimated based up on details communicated prior towards production.

  • Turn around time varies from 2-8 weeks depending on The Other Treasure’s calendar and availability. Time can vary if The Other Treasure does not have the furniture in stock and requires sourcing for a specific piece.

  • Upon pick up/delivery of your furniture, all services are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.

Design Terms:

  • Client will review and agreed upon the design selections within the Design Board.

  • Additional customizations that vary from the design board are permitted with a Redesign fee of $100 per customization and will be added to the final invoice.

Liability

  • Each custom piece comes with care instructions and touch up paint for your painted furniture. Paint is not impervious to life. Proper care promotes longevity. We do not warranty against wear and tear.

  • The Other Treasure uses premium, high quality products and finishes. If for any reason, you are unsatisfied upon pick up/delivery, please notify us for adjustments. We will not redo the entire piece.

  • If client is picking up and transporting their piece(s), the client is responsible for wear and damages that occur during transport. The Other Treasure will wrap your furniture in plastic wrap in preparation for transport, however we highly recommend clients to provide their own blankets and equipment to secure the piece to prevent damage.

  • Professional delivery services are insured and blanket wrapped for care and protection.

Payment and Pickup

  • A deposit in the amount of 50% of the price quote is required to secure your chosen piece of furniture and schedule your project on the Other Treasure's calendar to start the Design Phase. Half of the deposit shall become non-refundable upon receipt. Once client has signed off on their Design Board, the remainder of the deposit shall become non-refundable.

  • The Remaining Balance is due upon project completion.

  • All furniture must be picked up/scheduled for delivery up within 24-72 hours days of being notified your furniture is complete.

  • If client is unable to pick up within 34-72 hours of being notified of completion, piece(s) may be stored short term at a $25/day storage fee for up to 7 days. After 7 days, the fee per day is $35/day.

  • If the remaining balance & storage fees are not paid, and furniture is not picked up within 17 days of being notified your furniture is complete, The Other Treasure retains the rights to sell, donate or dispose of furniture.
